I smoked for 30 years. I tried quitting
many times but the urge kept me from
succeeding. Either the "Oral Need" of
having to have something in my lips, or
the instinctual urge was too great, or
the FEAR of sickness and poor health was
not enough of a reason. I even quit for
18 months once and went back to
it!
NOW I offer you this Method which has
worked for me... (I quit smoking in 1994)
- FIRST you have to WANT to quit! If
you just try without any real willful
desire, you'll never succeed.
- START to HATE smoking! Make it your
WORST friend...the guy you just can't
stand!
- NOW when you're READY to give it a
try...Begin by Drinking 6-8 full glasses
of water ( NO subsitutes..juices etc. )
EVERY DAY!!! At the same time Throw-Out
your cigarettes...keep NONE around!
- USE a pencil to chew-on for "Oral
Satisfaction"
- THE first 3 Days are CRITICAL. If
you Mentally Fight it and keep Drinking
6-8 Glasses of Water EVERY DAY...You
WILL SUCCEED
- NOW Tell yourself..."I'm NEVER going
to go back to doing that Stupid thing! I
made it over the Mountain and it was too
hard to do but I did it and I'm NEVER
going to go back!
- Now for several weeks even months
you'll get "urges" but THEY WILL PASS
AFTER A SHORT WHILE, especially if you
start doing something else! Keep chewing
on that Pencil! And keep Drinking the
water until you mentally have a
SUSTAINED HATRED for smoking.
